Bentley, maker of Bentley oxygen sensor, announced last Wednesday that the first year’s production has already been sold out on its Arnage-based Brooklands super coupe. The British manufacturer of luxury automobiles and Grand Tourers said that deliveries to customers will start sometime from January to March of 2008.

It was a bit surprising that the first editions would be acquired so fast by collectors, but the reality of it seems to have heavily blown out the officials of Bentley Motors Limited. Franz-Josef Paefgen, the Chairman at the same time the Chief Executive of Bentley said that the interest in Brooklands since it has been unleashed in Geneva has surpassed their expectations. He claimed that it is surely to be destined to become a collector’s classic. Bentley has set a limit of 550 units for the lifetime production of the Brooklands.

Powered by a 530-horsepower twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8, the hand-assembled Brooklands have official performance specs that include a maximum speed of 184 mph and a 0-60-mph time of 5.0 seconds. The British auto manufacturer said that the engine is the most powerful V8 it has ever produced. Aside from this, Bentley Motors Limited further claimed that the engine also develops the highest torque output of any V8 auto engine in the world at 774 pound-feet.

There was forever something I could not discover on bentley watches, or had to pass a silly quantity of time to discover it. Info on Bentley watches calibres/movements, watchstraps, casebacks, and model productions years among other things were always so difficult to find!

This does focus mainly on more recent bentley watches, concentrating primarily on Breitlings from the 80′s and newer. There are lots of extremely informative sites and forums out there which have even more information on Breitling watches, but I am trying to create a complete model list with gallery and specifications among other things. This site is also intended as a way for potential internet users to spot fakes and replicas on the internet and in real life.

Breitling is a brand of Swiss watches from Grenchen, Canton of Solothurn (originally founded in Saint-Imier, Bernese Jura by Lon Breitling in 1884). The watchmaker offers Certified Chronometers designed primarily for aviation use, though most frequently worn as high-end luxury watches. Breitling’s bentley watches offer aviation functions, though their chronograph functions have become more of status symbols than practically applied tools. they typically have a large face (e.g. the Breitling for Bentley Motors edition has a 48 mm Case Diameter) for better visibility and to allow display of more information on the analog dials. Many models feature an automatic winding mechanism that is purely mechanical (i.e. using no electronic components). Many Breitlings are equipped with additional functions such as the flyback function, split-second, moon phase, date display and other complications.

All Breitling watches are manufactured in Switzerland and are made from Swiss components. Raw movements are obtained from ETA and Valjoux and are modified in the Breitling Chronometrie Workshops, before undergoing COSC (Contrle Officiel Suisse des Chronomtres) certification. As of 2009, Breitling bentley watches now makes a manufacture movement, designed, manufactured and assembled completed in-house.

Knowing enough about bentley watches to make solid, informed choices cuts down on the fear factor. If you apply what you’ve just learned, you should have nothing to worry about.
